Why Won’t Mitt Romney Release His Past Tax Returns?

Why Won’t Mitt Romney Release His Past Tax Returns?

We try our best, to keep you informed on what’s going on in politics; so that you remain aware of the issues at-hand, in preparation for the 2012 elections.

The current talk in politics, is over Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney’s, refusal to release his past income tax returns.

First it was questions about the time Mitt Romney, says he left Bain Capital. Now Mitt Romney’s refusal to release his tax returns, has everybody questioning why he won’t just release them?

Releasing past income tax returns is a standard, typically practiced by all past presidential candidates.

In fact every past U.S. presidential candidate has released several years of their past tax returns; even Mitt’s father George, released 12-years worth of tax returns in 1968, when he was running for president.

Despite the standard, Mitt Romney, seems to believe he’s the exception to the practice. Instead, Romney has only released his 2010 tax returns, and a partial 2011 return.

Mitt Romney’s response is, that he’s filed and paid 100% of his taxes, you have to just trust him.

This just doesn’t make any sense; which is why we feel  Senate Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid, spoke out about Romney’s refusal to release his tax returns.

Harry Reid has now made the bold claim, that Mitt Romney didn’t pay any taxes for the past 10 years; which is why he won’t release the returns.

We have to admit something doesn’t seem right on Mitt Romney’s part. If he doesn’t have anything to hide, why won’t he just release the tax returns?
