The Knicks Lose Game 2 To The Heat 104-94 (Game Highlights)

Yesterday, we asked who you thought would win game 2, between the NY Knicks and the Miami Heat; in round 1 of the 2012 NBA playoffs. Well, all of you Miami fans must be exited, because the Heat were able to defeat the NY Knicks 104-94. The Miami Heat now leads the series 2-0.

It seems like the Knicks came out to play, however by the second half, they just couldn’t stop the Heats offense, and were having trouble rotating the ball. Miami Heat superstar guard Dwayne Wade scored a total of 25 points, while forward Chris Bosh scored 21 points. Heat superstar forward Lebron James scored a total of 19 points, during game 2.

Knicks superstar forward Carmelo Anthony, attempted to save the Knicks, and with limited help, he was able to score 30 points. Knicks superstar forward Amare Stoudemire, scored 18 points.

However, it was after the game, that Amare made headlines. According to reports, following the Knicks and Heat game, Amare Stoudemire was frustrated in the Knick locker room, and punched a fire extinguisher.

The paramedics were immediately called to the Knicks locker room, and treated Stoudemire for cutting his hand. Amare was seen exiting the arena, with his hand wrapped in a cast, and his arm in a sling. Now it’s unclear, as to whether or not Amare Stoudemire, will play in game 3 on Thursday.

An update with respect to Amare Stoudemire’s condition, is expected to be announced this afternoon. In Amare’s defense, he’s had a rough year; with the death of his brother, and dealing with a back injury.

We just hope he’s able to pull it together, and play on Thursday, when the Knicks come home to the Garden.
